Fresh Fruit & Vegetables
Fresh fruit and vegetables provide us with anti-oxidant vitamins and fibre. They really make a difference to our health, it is very clear from the scientific studies. The research shows that fresh fruit and vegetables are much better for us than vitimin suppliments. It remains a mystery why. The NHS is running a 'five-a-day' campagne to encourage us to eat more. But don't stop there, the Canadians recomend their population to aim at 10! I've noticed a very sensible slogan going around. It reads: 'just eat more.' Sound advice.
Fruit Juice
You might guess we are keen on this bit. Fresh fruit juice is a great way to get variety into your healthy diet. Make sure your juice is fresh and unadulterated by added sugar or syrop. If you are looking for a really healthy juice aim for the low glycaemic index juices, As a general rule, go for vegetable based juices. Very Veg is perfect.
